I went with three other guys and we trailered our bikes from Ojai with my Excursion on Friday and camped at Jawbone that night.

Saturday SEPT 19 2015 (tentative)
One-day "easy way" dual sport ride from Jawbone Canyon Rd to Piute Mtn Rd to Saddle Springs Rd to Bodfish/Lake Isabella, then back to Jawbone Canyon - same day.
~49 miles one-way, ~5,000' elevation change
Apparently all dirt road going out; if a loop ride, return route to be determined (if via Kelso Valley Rd, 85% paved road)
Still working out the ride details.

Note: This is the same weekend as the Chaparrals Alpine Trails 2-day Ride.
